I'm learning something new every day. 🙂

I saw a joke about Ramadan, a muslim in Norway that discover that in certain parts of the country, the sun never sets during summer. But from what I understand there is different times for different regions. Who decide when you can break the fast each day if daylight doesn't dictate it?

I hadn't thought about this, but would enjoy learning the answer (as I've enjoyed learning much more about Ramadan thru Qasim's articles).

Granted, they're more sparsely populated, but in the places where "the midnight sun" shines for a good part of the year, how is Ramadan fasting done?

Ramadan moving through the seasons is a quiet kind of justice.

No one gets permanent ease. No one gets permanent hardship.

Winter will carry you. Summer will test you.

And somewhere in between… you realize the fast was never just about hunger.

It was about learning not to depend on comfort.

Eid comes and goes… but that lesson?

That’s the one worth keeping.
