Sounds like lots of kids have encountered the Trump bully when they were young. I wasn’t aware you had. I liked what your dad told you: people fear what they don’t understand. It’s what they do with that fear that makes them a Qasim or a Donald.

You got ne with the sharing of your encounter with the bully. I call it "seeing red". I was 14. The bully the same age but about 2/3rds my size. But I had had enough. He said something nasty, derogatory. I snapped. All that pent-up rage erupted at once. I recall literally seeing red. Another friend stood by has I pummeled the bully. The friend, after what seemed like an eternity, said that I should stop, that bully had had enough. His word snapped me out of my "Hulk Smash!" mode. And then, that's when the nausea hit. The stark instant of recall . . . of the madness, the rage, the red visage of the dark beast within that I had been ignorant of. I had to sit down, as I literally shook from the trauma of realization of what I had done. Here is to changing the hearts and minds of all. Not with fists, but by winning hearts with healing words, and actions, of reason and dialog. Most of all . . . Love.❤️🙏🙌🖖
